A bit late, on the day – hey, a waning summer has its affect – but the ACAC will NOT be at the Baywalk tonight, Aug. 2.
Yeah, sky conditions are good, and wind is low, but the full moon will wash out anything else there may be to see. Interestingly, there will be another full moon at the end of the month, and the Perseid meteor shower will have a dark sky – new Moon stage – to allow all of them to be spotted… if one is fortunate, and clouds don’t get in the way.
Hope to see folk next Wednesday for regular observations.
