The April meeting of ACAC will be at the usual Wilmot Community Centre, on Gillespie Ave, located behind the Shell / Needs Convenience station, on Sunday, 28 April and, yes, at the usual 7-9 p.m. time frame.
Rolly will be conducting an astronomical-object image quiz, so bring a paper tablet (or paper & something relatively firm to support the response-recording paper) as you mull over the various identifications.
On the agenda for the WORDS segment are:

1. What is Apoapsis?
2. What is Apastron?
3. What is a compound telescope?
4. What is a Lagrange Point?
5. Identify the star Bungula?

Hopefully, we will also have plenty of eclipse experiences related, or imaged, during the Open Viewing segment. (yes, bring your images on flash drive, we can appreciate any recollection via the enthusiasm ingrained in the telling).
Aaron is scheduled to discuss Astronomy & Amature Radio, which should be interesting.
Vesta & the Asteroid Belt will be the video topic this month and, of course, the Sky Calendar will be reviewed for a preview of May’s skies.
See you all there!
