Well. the world turns on great intentions.
We had planned to be on the Summerside Baywalk last evening, to start our annual public astronomy sessions, but two of the presenters came down with health deterrents so we called it off. Nonetheless, Michael does what Michael does and sat on the bench ’cause the Moon – Mi’Kmaw Moon, apparently – and Venus were dancing in celebration of the arrival of summer, and he wanted to capture the event on pixels. Of course, he also had “conversations with some strangers he barely knows”, pointing out the celestial duo and promoting the Wednesday evening Baywalk Astronomy concept.
Hopefully, some of them will return over the summer and early autumn to try out observing with our telescopes, binoculars,and, fo course, capture images with their own camera(s).
