The skies decided to clear Wednesday evening, and ACAC members were on duty for Baywalk Astronomy, by the Shipyard building on the shore of Summerside Harbour. Few passers-by, but five of us did spy M13 and have some varied conversations, so it’s all good.
We tried to spot M4 in Scorpius and M81&82 in Ursa Maj, but conditions and lighting seemed unwilling to cooperate… long dusk didn’t help either. Michael was able to spot both with his 15×75 binoculars, hand-held, from his Miscouche front yard at about 11:20, though!
A good night, says I!
Hopefully, next Wednesday will be as good, or better!
