Currently, the brightest comet in the sky is C/2017 K2 (PANSTARRS). This image was taken last week by Ralph, the robotic telescope at SMU. You can see the nucleus of the comet, its coma (head) and a bit of a stubby tail at 1 o’clock. The frame is a little smaller than the full Moon.
