Caught a spectacular bolide last night after 11pm. It ran directly overhead SE to NNW, around 45°, and was bright enough to leave a flash image in my eyes, as well as a trail at least 15° long. It broke up in the end, several pieces leaving short trails as well. I just happened to be looking at that part of the sky while out with the dog when it happened. I actually shouted “WHOA” out loud!
