This may not seem like much of a story, but the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) will be as much the scientific and social revolution the Hubble Space Telescope was, only this time we know there are extraordinary surprises awaiting discovery. Much of the work Hubble did (and still does) was exploring its own unforeseen discoveries and phenomena. The JWST will do the same, but this time the fridge will always be stocked with champagne.
