OK: captured an image of Leo the other night, and noted two angled pairs of stars on the horizon ahead of Leo and, coincidentally, in line with two bowl stars of the Big Dipper, handle junction through opposite corner. Wondered what they were, and tonight I figured they were, are, Pollux and Castor, of Gemini, east, with Menkalinan and Capella, of Auriga, west.

Such an awesome pairing, on the western horizon. (Image, ++++, upper right, just above M35, which is on the ecliptic.)
